Start your return by emailing us with your order number and reason. We'll respond within 1 business day with a Return Authorization and instructions. Do not ship anything back without an RA number — unauthorized returns may be refused.

Pack and ship the item backUse the original packaging if available. Include all accessories, hardware, and documentation. Seal the box securely — damaged or loose packaging is the customer's responsibility.

Refund processed after inspectionOnce we receive and inspect the part (typically 2–4 business days after arrival), we'll issue your refund to the original payment method. You'll get an email confirmation with the refund amount.

💰 Refund Process & Timeline
Once your return arrives at our warehouse and passes inspection, we process your refund. Here's what to expect:
Refunds go to the original payment method. If you paid with a promo code, the credit is restored to your account for future use. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong part, DOA).

Every new part sold by ThrottleVault carries a manufacturer warranty. Warranty coverage varies by brand and product type. Here's the general framework:
Warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, racing use, chemical exposure, or normal wear. If you're unsure whether your part qualifies under warranty, email us before filing a claim — we'll help you get the right outcome.

Check the fitment info on the product page before ordering — we display vehicle compatibility for every part. If we listed the part as fitting your vehicle and it doesn't, contact us with photos and we'll make it right. Installed parts that don't fit based on incorrect application info are covered under our guarantee. Parts that don't fit because the buyer ordered incorrectly are handled case-by-case.
Yes. Once your return is authorized, you can request a different variant of the same product (different size, finish, etc.) and we'll process the exchange. You'll only be charged or refunded the difference. Exchanges are subject to availability.
Parts showing signs of installation, use, or racing application cannot be refunded. We'll photograph the part and email you with options — typically store credit for the salvage value of the part. We take this seriously because safety-critical parts (brakes, suspension, steering) installed and then returned put other buyers at risk.
Once you ship (with our prepaid label): 3–4 days in transit. Inspection: 1–2 business days. Refund to your card: 3–5 business days. Total typical window: 8–14 days from when you hand the package to the carrier to when funds appear in your account.
Don't install it. Take photos of the packaging and the damage before unwrapping anything, and email us immediately at orders@throttlevault.polsia.app. We'll send a replacement and a return label the same day, and we'll file the freight claim with the carrier. DOA claims get full replacement with zero delay — no waiting for the return to arrive first.
